3 Simple Steak Marinades

I like wonderful food, but sometimes the most straightforward of things can frequently give the best pleasures. A straightforward steak when cooked and treated in the right way can be fantastic! When you're selecting your best steak marinade, there are two things which need to be taken into consideration. The 1st is what cut/kind of steak will you be using, and the 2nd is the flavor you would want to add to the meat. Marinades are used not only to add unique flavour, but they also break down harder cuts of steak and tenderise the meat. Marinating also aids in keeping the steak moist across the cooking process.

Steak Marinade 1

Ingredients

- Soy Sauce 1 cup
- Olive Oil 1 cup
- Fresh Lemon Juice 1 cup
- Worcestershire Sauce 1cup
- Garlic Powder 1 tablespoons
- Dried Basil 3 tablespoons
- Dried Parsley 1 tablespoons
- White Pepper 1 teaspoons
- Hot Pepper Sauce 1 teaspoons
- Dried Minced Garlic 1 teaspoons

Method

In a blender, add soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, basil, parsley, hot pepper sauce, dried garlic minced and blend on high-speed for approximately 30 seconds or till totally mixed. Decant the marinade over the meat. Ensure all the pieces are well dipped into the marinade. Cover and freeze for 6 to 8 hours or overnite and cook as required.

Steak Marinade 2

Ingredients

- Vegetable Oil 1 cup
- Soy Sauce 1 cup
- Red Wine Vinegar 1 cup
- Fresh Lemon Juice 1 cup
- Worcestershire Sauce 3 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper 1 tablespoons
- Mustard 2 tablespoons
- Garlic 2 cloves

Method

In a bowl mix oil, soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, mustard and garlic. Mix all of the ingredients well. You'll opt to blend it in the Magimix too. Tip the marinade on the meat and let it marinate overnite.

Steak Marinade 3

Ingredients

- Worcestershire Sauce 1cup
- Italian Style Salad Dressing 1 cup
- Garlic Pepper Seasoning 2 tsp
- Barbecue Sauce 1 cup
- Meat Sirloin Tip Steak 2 pounds

Method

In a blender, mix Worcestershire sauce, salad dressing, garlic pepper seasoning and barbecue sauce. Blend for 25 to 30 seconds, so the marinade is well blended. Place the steaks in the marinade and cover it on all sides with the marinade Cool until steak is ready to be barbecued.

The simplest way to Barbecue the Ideal Steak

When you want to barbecue the ideal steak, you should know how to marinate a steak. Marinating the steak in the marinade for a minimum of 4 hours is critical. If possible you can marinate the steaks overnight. Preheat the barbecue grill on high. Brush both of the sides of the steak with olive oil. This may make sure that the steaks don't stick to the barbecue griddle. Put salt on the steak when you are about to barbecue the steak, as salt draws out the flavoursome juices from the steak. The other side should be salted just when you turn to the other side. Cooking time will depend upon the thickness of the steak and of course how you prefer it to be cooked. When the steak is cooked, transfer it to a board and cover the plate with foil. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, so that the juices are evenly distributed and your steak becomes succulent and tender.
